Currently in development, this app is crafted to help users easily search for hikes, canyons, river trips, campgrounds, rock climbing routes, and more—all in one place.
To ensure seamless functionality, Denali pulls from local recommendations and national land management archives, providing up-to-date, reliable info. User surveys and field interviews have helped shape key features, focusing on real-time trail conditions, accessibility details, and personalized trip planning.
The design process prioritizes clarity and ease of use, with a sleek interface that makes finding outdoor adventures as effortless as lacing up hiking boots. From weekend warriors to seasoned explorers, Denali is being built to remove the guesswork and put the focus back on adventure. Stay tuned—big things are on the horizon!

User Research
To better understand the problem, a survey was conducted using Google Forms, gathering responses from 67 outdoor enthusiasts.
I just want a solid trail without digging through a million random blogs and outdated park websites. Why is this so hard?
By the time I find a good spot, figure out the rules, and check the weather, I’m exhausted before I even leave the house.
Half the trails I find online are either closed, overcrowded, or way harder than advertised. I need real info from real people!
I know there are amazing trails out there, but finding them feels like a scavenger hunt with no map.
I finally get to a trail, and it’s packed. I wish I knew which spots were actually peaceful before I drove an hour to get there.
The last ‘easy’ hike I found online had me scrambling up rocks like a mountain goat. Accurate trail info would be a lifesaver!
