Creating a fully functional website for CIM’s Channel House began with an in-depth discussion with the client to establish their goals, success metrics, and branding requirements. With a firmly established branding guide already in place, much of the designer’s work focused on refining layout, alignment, padding, and thoughtfully incorporating local imagery to create a high-end user experience.
The key objectives were clear—drive lease inquiries, highlight the property’s waterfront lifestyle, and reinforce the sophisticated, modern aesthetic of Channel House. Since typography, colors, and overall branding had already been defined, the challenge became ensuring that the site’s structure complemented these elements. Layout choices needed to enhance readability and flow, allowing potential residents to navigate the site effortlessly while engaging with compelling visuals and content.
With a strong foundation in place, attention turned to the details. Padding was carefully adjusted to create a balanced, airy feel without overwhelming the viewer. Alignment was fine-tuned to keep the design polished and professional. Local imagery, an essential part of capturing the essence of Jack London Square, was strategically placed to add warmth and authenticity. Mobile responsiveness and performance optimization were also prioritized to ensure a smooth browsing experience across devices.
